Does Insurance Cover Biohazard Cleanup?
Some property policies may cover part of specialty cleanup, but coverage depends on the policy, event, exclusions, limits, and the carrier’s decision.
Ask the carrier whether the event may be covered, what documentation is required, whether emergency mitigation is addressed, and whether there are vendor or notice requirements. A cleanup provider may explain its proposed work and documentation but cannot interpret the policy or guarantee payment.
