Ask for the affected areas, cleaning or removal tasks, disposal, odor treatment and any exclusions.

What would cause the estimate to change?

The company should be able to explain what hidden findings or additional contamination would expand the scope.

How are porous materials evaluated?

Ask how carpet, padding, flooring, drywall, upholstery or subfloor are assessed when fluids may have penetrated.

How is waste handled?

Ask how regulated or contaminated waste generated by the work is packaged, transported and disposed of as applicable.

How is privacy protected?
